明智平ロープウェイ
日光市にあるロープウェイ。明智平から展望台まで約3分かけて、標高1373m地点まで上っていく。切り立った断崖が連なる屏風岩や山並みをはじめ、中禅寺湖や華厳の滝、男体山などが雄大なスケールで見渡すことができる。また紅葉のシーズン中は、営業時間の繰り上げや延長が行われることがある。

Akechidaira Ropeway
Ropeway in Nikko city. It takes about 3 minutes from Akechidaira to the observatory and climbs to an altitude of 1373m. From here, you can see the sheer cliffs of Byobuiwa, mountains, Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls, and Mt. Nantai on a magnificent scale. Also, during the fall foliage season, business hours may be moved up or extended.
